DENIM ON DENIM
Happy Monday everyone..
I was in NewYork last week to network and get some supplies. I love love NewYork. I always feel energized when am there because there's so much to do and fabulous people to meet. The weather was pretty amazing on friday and I wanted to rock some denim on denim. For such a monochrome look, I had to add some color with the assymetrical shoes from Zara and mint clutch. I absolutely adore the coat, I think it adds some intensity to the washed out color of the denim.
I hope you all had a great weekend.

BEACH VIBES
Saturday was such a beautiful, windy day so my dear friend Q and I decided to go explore the little stores by the boardwalk and sneak in some pics for the blog. I was going for a vintage look when I wore this dress. I was taken in by the pretty butterfly prints, plus it buttons at the back…sigh! The red peep-toe high-heeled sandals added that extra umphh!!
I couldn’t resist dipping my feet in water. A little adventure is good for the soul.

FALL TRENDS (PART 2)
Every time I think of leather the terms tough, macho, or no nonsense comes to mind. Designers this season tapped into Rooney Mara’s character in the Girl with the dragon tattoo. Clingy dresses, studded Leather bodices, and armored pants can be a little bit intimidating even to myself. However, I decided to challenge my self and try this trend out. My way…
It’s been a little bit cold the past few days, so when the sun came out today I knew my pencil leather skirt should too. I absolutely love it. Its beautifully made with a little flounce detail on the back that won me over. I spun a lady-like feel to it donning purple asymmetrical pumps and a sequined sweater top.
Off to run some errands. Thanks for stopping by.
