BRIGHT MOOD

The usual norm when the season changes to fall or winter is to go for darker hues. At times, its always great to play around with colors. There so many options ranging from pastels to vibrant hues this season that will definitely brighten up your closet.

For today’s look I wore knee-high burgundy boots over skinny pants, and a bright yellow sweater. It’s getting really chilly and my go to menswear inspired camel coat came in handy. I love how the colors seem to contrast yet come together so well. Experiment a little and play around with the colors, you might just discover how "bright" your mood will become.

SILK TEE + GREY PANTS

A quick hello this beautiful morning, kept it very casual today with grey slacks and a silk tee. It's a comfortable look that can also be rocked with either flats or sandals. 

So whenever am editing the pics, I always find one that somewhat stands out. The picture above had me laughing out loud!! The look on my face is hilarious!!! If you were to caption it, what would you write?

Truth be told, I have no idea what I saw or was saying at the time.

SEPTEMBER

Happy September folks, its amazing how time flies. Seems just like yesterday that I was eagerly anticipating summer but that’s the beauty of life- it goes on. I haven’t been able put up a couple of posts due to an issue with the pictures, but that’s all cleared.

            By now, you already know my love for all things vintage. I get a little flutter when I see a vintage store, am like a kid in a candy store. Oh the joy! With that said, check out a few stores around your area. They are clearing up for fall goodies, so beautiful vintage summer dresses might be on sale. Who doesn’t like a good sale?

           For today’s look I settled for a light, flowy, 80’s dress with little shoulder pads on the sleeves. I absolutely love this dress. Can’t wait to rock it with tights and a blazer in the fall. I completed the look with black, suede heels, and some accessories.

IN VEGAS

Hey guys, am in Las Vegas this weekend for the United States International Rugby Sevens tournament. For me, this is usually a time to reconnect with old friends, enjoy the games, meet new friends, and explore the amazing stores on the strip. 

The weather is perfect!! A much needed get away from the winter cold in the East Coast. Am a big fan of skirts.  :)

For this look I went for a red pencil skirt that I paired up with a floral top, blue Zara wedges, and my favourite leather jacket. My friends and I were going out for brunch so I had a few pictures taken heading out from the hotel.

Being a fan of all things design, I am naturally inclined to have a passion for architecture. Vegas has some of the most gorgeous works of art, especially the buildings!! I will share some pictures in the next coming days of some extremely beautiful structures that got my attention.
